Hazchem Freight Delivery
Hazardous Materials Shippers. Mini Clipper is a member of the first dedicated network to offer a next day delivery service for Hazchem (hazardous materials) consignments.
Mini Clipper is now an approved member of The Hazchem Network , which links ADR transport specialists. Trained Mini Clipper drivers trunk to the specifically designed hub which has segregated zones for packaged liquids, gases and solid chemicals. The Hazchem hub is located in Rugby.
Mini Clipper can now provide a next day service across mainland UK for pallets of freight falling within scope of the ADR regulations. We will accept bagged product on pallets, IBC's, various sized drums on pallets, palletised gas cylinders, aerosols and dewar vessels, polybulks and of course carton traffic on pallets.
Customer Guidance For Packaging
The goods must be banded to a standard wooden pallet. Full maximum pallet specification :-
Max Footprint - 48" X 48"
Max Height - 2.2m (Including Pallet)
Max Weight - 1250kg
Mini Clipper and the whole Hazchem Network has safety as its first priority, and you the customer have a major part to play in protecting your customers, our staff, other road users, and the general public.
- Make sure the pallet is fit for purpose (it will be handled a number of times by forklift)
- Load the pallet evenly (i.e. not one side heavy)
- Don't allow the goods to overhang the pallet
- Don't load more than 1225 kg of product onto a pallet
- Make sure the goods are securely attached to the pallet
- Ensure that you accurately declare the weight and label correctly
- Check for leaks before dispatch
- Please check that the collecting driver has all of the appropriate safety documentation and information
